Valentine’s Day Tutorial – Evening Purple Smokey ft. Milani Bella Shadows

I am really excited to share this look and tutorial with you all today!  This is another collab, my dear friend Honey, from youtube, came up with and invited me to do with her; using our Milani Bella shadows, and other drugstore products.  She created a daytime look, and I did a look for night.  To watch her tutorial click here (also check out her photos and read all about her creation on her blog).  I saw a photo of her look and it is gorgeous!!! I am looking forward to seeing how she put it all together.

I wanted to do a purple smokey, with a light purple lip, but I did not want the purple to be too bright, or too dark. To watch how I created my look, please feel free to click on the video below!

For my makeup look I used the following products:

– Milani Eye Shadow Primer

– Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded

– Milani Bella Purple Satin Matte Eye Shadow

– Milani Bella Pink Shimmer Eye Shadow

– Milani Bella Black Satin Matte Eye Shadow

– Milani Bella Ivory Satin Matte Eye Shadow

– Jordana 12 HR Made To Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Black Point

– L’Oreal Manga Waterproof Mascara in Black

– Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

– Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sunlight

– Milani Rose Powder Blush in Tea Rose

– Fergie Shimmer Palette in Rose Champagne Glow

– Covergirl Lipstick in 340 Delicious

I want to thank Honey for inviting me to join in this collab.  🙂  I really enjoyed experimenting with our milani bella shadows and drugstore makeup together!!! I have yet to try some of my shadows out and it was fun trying different ways of applying them and even more fun with a friend!

Valentine’s Makeup Tutorial ft. Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

A few weeks ago, my friend Honey on youtube, came up with an awesome collab for Valentine’s.  We would each do a look with our Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette; I would be using the original Chocolate Bar for my look, and Honey would use her Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar for hers.

I was indecisive for a while as to what color scheme and placement I wanted to do.  I am glad I chose the look I will be sharing today.  The colors came together as I had hoped.  To see how I created my Valentine’s look, feel free to click the video below.

For my makeup look I used the following products:

– Too Faced Insurance Eye Primer

– Nyx Eye Shadow Base in Skintone

– The shadows Amaretto, Strawberry Bon Bon, Black Forest Truffle, Champagne Truffle, and White Chocolate from the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

– Urban Decay Dual 24/7 End Eyeliner (Venus/Crave) the Crave end

– L’Oreal Black Water Proof Manga Mascara

– Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser

– Rimmel London Natural Bronzer in Sunlight

– Too Faced Sweet Heart blush in Candy Glow (the strip on the far right)

– Benefit’s High Beam Tint

– Too Faced Glamour Gloss in Flirt

– (not in the tutorial) Covergirl brow pencil in midnight brown and Salon Perfect Brow Sculpting Gel

I really need to use this palette more often!!  It smells so delicious, and the shadows feel so soft, while I apply them.  It was great seeing how this look came together using it.  I want to thank Honey for inviting me to do this collab!! It was fun playing with Too Faced together!!!

To see her Valentine’s look using her Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar click on youtube click here (and for her blog post click here).

What kind of makeup looks do you all like to create for Valentine’s Day?  Have you tried either of the Too Faced Chocolate Palettes? What are your thoughts? What are your favorite romantic eye shadows? Please feel free comment below!!
